Hello, hello. Welcome back to another episode of Empowered Radio. Thank you guys for tuning in today.

0:06.7

So we know that we are on our metabolism series. The, I believe two episodes ago, we went through

0:13.2

metabolism 101 and really dug into why fat loss feels harder, especially as we are aging and how to fix it. So if you are in

0:24.0

paramedopause or maybe not quite yet, but you are 40 plus and you're trying to figure out what

0:32.1

to expect, definitely listen to that episode. It does help clear things up in terms of why it does feel harder. So we did that

0:40.0

one two weeks ago. And then last week, we did an episode on why diets fail. So the most common

0:45.6

things that I see and how it affects your metabolism. So today, we're actually going to go through

0:51.4

what I would say are the actual phases of fat loss.

0:56.2

So I know when we start a diet,

0:58.4

1:07.6

And if you're doing it that way,

1:09.8

that's likely why you have either been unsuccessful with

1:14.1

your dieting attempts, or maybe you've lost the weight and just regained it, which again is an

1:18.1

unsuccessful diet, in my opinion. If you have followed a diet where you lost the weight and you

1:23.1

gained it back, in, again, my opinion, that is not a a successful diet a successful diet should be one that

1:30.0

set you up to sustain the weight loss long term without having to give up all your you know foods

1:37.9

that you love without having to give up your life like you should be able to live a normal life

1:42.2

and lose fat the number one compliment,

1:47.0

and I call it a compliment, I love when people tell me this. I love when they say, I love that
