You can never get to God. You can never fully understand what God is. That will always be

unavailable to you. The same way that quality can't be defined. If you're a materialist,

that's unacceptable. You have to get to it. God doesn't exist. It's a completely material and

someday we're going to find that particle. I think that getting to the particles are the fools there.

So we're back to just the betweenness.

I mean, it seems to be like one of the best words.

Relationality is another one,

but maybe slightly more obscure,

to describe everything that we can experience.

Hmm. experience. Well, maybe it's in the book, right? Lila means the divine play, something like that.

I don't recall if that was in the book or we figured that out.

At one point, Persig says that it is like lilac, and the woman's name is, you know,

the way with the woman's name is pronounced as lila.

In the audio book, it's lila, but there's that implication of it being lila.

So, you know, I find people pronounce it both ways, and I think they're both valid.

Yeah, I think so as well.

I mean, this is one of those books that has, I don't know, it just cemented itself in my mind.

Like, I feel like every book that I read now, it's, there's some interpretive layer

of Persig on it. And I had read Zen probably in 2016, 2017.

I thought it was good, but it didn't leave as much of an impression on me as Lila.
