I'd like to share one of my favorite quotes with you today. It's an oldie. It's often been attributed to different sources

And what we discussed was the importance of being diplomatic. I think one of the reasons we don't speak up for ourselves, we don't use our voice, we don't

communicate what it is that we need, right? What we desire is because we're worried will be

misunderstood, we're worried will be misunderstood, we're worried will we seem as loud or

domineering or aggressive, or we think people might not like us, we think it's too risky,

often just put up with a status quo we won't always share our ideas we

won't advocate for our own needs. But my friends, when it comes to using your voice, asking

questions, sharing your ideas, requesting what it is that you need.

Using your voice and advocating for yourself is not only appropriate,

it's also generous.
