When I created my first social media marketing course in 2016, oh, back in the day, I was

really proud of the work that I had done, but I had no idea how to get the content in

my hands into the hands of my ideal client.

So I've told you a long time, weeks, weeks, maybe, okay, months, I racked my brain and

then I would scribble notes on cocktail napkins while I was brainstorming with JD.

It's like, I have multiple napkins from different places.

Like, honestly, however many napkins, it was like a map to how many places we have the

conversation, every restaurant, every rooftop.

I was like, give me a napkin.

I have an idea.

So after all of that napkin writing and ideating and tapas and bubbly, okay, it finally hit me.

I needed to give my audience a look, kind of like a sneak peek of what I taught in my

digital course to show them the value of it.

Basically, we have to show somebody something before they want to buy it.

I mean, I had already seen digital marketers.

Like, I knew I wasn't going to be the first person to be like, oh, my free educational

webinar.

I was kind of like, I had seen other people do that before and I didn't think that it

would work for me, but I definitely knew it wasn't going to work for me in that way.

But I knew it wouldn't hurt to host a class to show people.

And then I thought to myself, well, what's the worst can happen?

Maybe it'll just be like, my mom.
