Hi, Laypoint family and happy Mother's Day to all of our beautiful moms across all our locations.

It is such an honor to come under the fathers of this house, our pastors, our elders, to bring a message,

especially for the ladies of Laypoint on this special day.

And we're in the middle of this series, honest to God, where we talk about

the doubts and struggles we face sometimes in our faith and how we should bring them to

God and be honest with him so we could be affirmed and reassured in our faith.

And even though today is Mother's Day, I felt very heavy on my heart to continue with this series with the topic

that was originally planned, which is church hurt. And because this is such a sensitive subject,

I would like to start with a disclaimer, okay? This is the kind of message where I may say some

hard truths, and it may happen that you may hear something that you're

going to go like, oh my gosh, like, did she really say that? Like, what did she mean? Doesn't she

know about this or that? And you will be tempted to stop listening to what is being said and start

jumping into conclusions. Well, do not fall into that trap. Listen to the whole message and if at the end you're still upset, you can always email Pastor Josh, okay?

When we talk about church heard, I think it's very important that we start by defining these words,

because honestly, I think we mess up sometimes these terms.

So let's start with what is church? I'm sure that most of us know that the church is not a building.
