Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters. We're

devoting ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys.

Today's back, back, back. Let's go. We're back in the Thrive Bible so she's just going to take

it from here. Yes, y'all. Let's do it. Today's devotional is titled calming the storm and the

scripture is Luke 824 that says the disciples went and woke him up shouting master master we're

going to drown when Jesus woke up he rebuked the wind and the raging waves suddenly the storm

stopped and all was calm. The love letter from God says beloved child storms are a part of life

but even the strongest storm can't drown out my faithfulness. I am the one who comforts your

every fear and calms the storms in and around you. If you really understand how big I am you will

never drown and doubts again. My deepest desire is that your trust in me will be like a life

preserver no matter what waters seem to be raging around you. I am the God who parted the

sea for Moses and I will move any flood waters in the way of my will for your life. Rest in me

knowing that I am the creator of heaven and earth and I am your loving God who saves. Love your

heavenly Father. The reflection says it doesn't matter how hard you try to avoid being hit by the

storms in this life you can't save yourself that's why God sent a savior. Jesus can calm even the

worst possible storm however sometimes he will calm the storm inside of us first. The good

thing about storms is that they give you a chance to see for yourself that faith and God

drowns out every fear. The treasure of truth says Jesus is the life preserver that saves us from

drowning in fear. Yes this is so good and it's something I try to remind myself of because I think

from like the world's perspective you know A plus B equals C so it's like I'm hungry so I eat

now that problem is solved but the way God does this is that you're hungry he solves the hunger

without even needing to change your exterior circumstances because he is the bread of life yeah
