Welcome to 10 minute Bible Talks.

Where we connect the Bible to your life and the time it takes to get to work.

I'm Tanya Wilmoth. So about that plank in your eye. You wouldn't dream

0:18.3

about walking around all day with a plank in your eye. I can't even get an eyelash in mind without coming completely unglued.

0:25.0

Yet. Did you know that this is what the Bible tells us we do when we judge others?

0:30.0

We are like people walking around with a plank coming out of our eye and no surprise it actually feels terrible.

0:37.0

1:26.9

Jesus says it like this. He says, why do you see the spec that is in your brother's eye,

1:35.1

but do not notice the log that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, let me take that spec out of your eye when there is the

1:41.1

log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own

1:45.2

eye and then you will see clearly to take the spec out of your brother's eye.

1:49.8

Well there's a lot there but we're going to look at all of it.

1:52.8

We are really good at peering into the lives and character
