All right everyone. We are on day six with Jason of Boheka Pepper Hut.

And today we've gotten through a lot of the process of growing peppers, right?

So we've talked about problems, germination, soil mix, and

general pepper care. What about when the time comes to actually enjoy the fruits of our harvest,

right? When do we harvest our peppers? How do we know when they're ripe?

And then most importantly, and this is one that I think a lot of gardeners might

overlook, how do you properly store peppers and many other fruits for that matter so that their shelf life

is increased and you're getting the most longevity out of these plants because really

anything that's producing a fruit is going to take a while to grow in the garden.

We know this. It takes tomatoes a while.

It takes berries a long time.

So why would we not pay attention to how we store and increase the shelf life of this produce.

And so that's what we're talking about, both harvesting and the storage of peppers on today's

episode with Jason of Bohika, Pepper Hut.

and we're talking now about the harvesting process because we've already gone through how to start and care for and even troubleshoot our peppers.

How do we actually, first of all, know when they're ready to harvest and then after that point how do we store

them properly how do we make sure that we are you know preserving them because you know these

things take a lot of effort to grow we want to make sure we're caring for him correctly once they're actually done.
