So this week, not a controversial subject at all. How to handle your husband? Hmm. Well, okay,

this is on my mind because my husband, Dan, recently, had an opportunity to write something professionally, and he wrote about

that passage from Ephesians 5. You know the one I'm talking about. The one that maybe sometimes

we prefer to skip when it's read as the gospel passage or use the shortened version. It was

recently one of the Sunday readings, and the parish where

we were at wasn't our home parish. We happened to be out of town that weekend. And the parish there

just used this extremely short version of it, so it kind of skipped all the controversial parts of it.
