The very first dating website that I joined was OKCupid. The very first date I went on

was also from OKCupid. OKCupid. So we go way back. Me and this company. But yeah,

Michael is going to be joining us. He's been with OKCupid since 2019. He's been a leading

voice in dating and relationship sphere, bringing a lot of light to dating app trends and

the data behind modern dating, specifically. OKCupid is pretty well known for a huge, huge

study that they did back in like 2014. It's like a very expansive longitudinal study that brought

a lot of insights into the plight of Black women and Asian men on the apps. It's a very famous

study. We definitely dive into it with Michael. But yeah, OKCupid has been a huge player in the

online dating like data world. And Michael has done a lot of work in bringing awareness to

specifically like inclusivity in the online dating space. We talk about OKCupid's hands and

creating badges on their profiles, Black Lives Matter badges, vaccination, climate change,

and then just really kind of really making a huge stand on like helping support people

and talking about social awareness and political affiliation with dating and really integrating

it into their app. Michael is also a member of the LGBTQIA plus community and found his partner

on Tinder. So he knows a thing or two about his world and from his own experience. So
