How did you get started in real estate?

I mean, here you are right now in 2020.

So anyone watching right now who thinks, my gosh, I want want to get started I don't know if I can how much time energy and attention do I have to put into this

You've done it in a short amount of time managed to get to 18 doors. So walk us back to what happened in 2018 when you decided to get started.

Yeah, so I actually got started at least learning about real estate in 2017. So I got hooked up with a company that teaches individuals how to refinance their home into a first-ling

he-lock and basically pay it off and a fraction of the time that normal amortized 30-year

loan would be.

And when I got involved in this group, Clayton, you were actually interviewed by the owners of this group talking about real estate and we got into that Facebook group and it was a whole bunch of people that had their primary mortgage paid off and they were using the equity to go buy real estate.

And up until that point, you know, I was just looking for a way to pay my house off more quickly. I wasn't looking for real estate, but what I found was a whole bunch of real estate investors that were using that equity and they were building wealth by buying cash flowing assets.
