Summary

In this episode of The Jordan Syatt Mini-Podcast, I take a question from a listener and develop a "jiu-jitsu inspired belt system" for strength training with my trusty podcast producer, Tony. I talk about the importance of exposure, consistency, mentality, balance, attitude and more and how they each apply at different levels of strength training in order to hash out what milestones you can use to assess your belt and stripe level. I also discuss when strength standards are important, when it makes sense to focus on the minutiae, resources to use to master your form as you advance in strength training, and at what belt level most people stop strength training in earnest. If you have any follow-up questions to this episode or other questions or episode ideas you'd like us to talk about on the podcast, shoot Tony a message on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tone_reverie/ . I hope you enjoy this episode and, if you do, please leave a review on iTunes (huge thank you to everyone who has written one so far). Finally, if you've been thinking about joining The Inner Circle but haven't yet... we have hundreds of home and bodyweight workouts for you and you can get them all here: www.sfinnercircle.com.
