Okay. So what if it's the case that you are not stuck, but instead you are resisting?

What if feeling stuck wasn't about the situation that you're in, but about the reality you don't want to accept.

In my experience, the harder you try to push your way out of stuckness, the more trapped you

feel because you end up reinforcing the patterns of mind that are fighting against the very thing

you need to stop fighting, aka the thing you need to feel.

So what is stuckness?

It's an experience that arises when one part of us wishes to feel a certain state or outcome,

while another part of us is resisting the experience that is currently in front of us.

You may want to feel energy toward dating, but you can't let go of a past relationship.

You may want to have clarity on what to do with your life, but you don't feel

energy toward the next step. You may wish to feel calm and peaceful, but your body is locked in

fear. You may wish to feel happy and loving, but your mind won't let go of anger and resentment.

Being stuck is when you want to experience a certain state or outcome while resisting the

truth of what's currently here. But here's the key point. All this is just an experience of being stuck.

It's your mind's interpretation of the dissonance between the desire and reality.

So if you were to zoom out on yourself, as if you were observing your experience like an alien looking at the

earth, looking at this being for the first time, you would just see a person sitting here,

or driving, or eating, or crying, and moving through the motions of the day.
