Good Eve, everybody. Welcome to the show. We're going to be talking how to get over a breakup.

Yes, we did a show recently on how to break up with someone. So clearly this is very distinct,

but still within that realm. This is something that I could probably report on once a week.

And people would still have an attachment to it and learn something from it because that's kind of how the world works.

Remember, when I tell people about relationality, I always say, listen, it's often hurting

someone or getting hurt until you find someone you're a match with. Now, what I mean when I say

breaking up with someone is, you know, or dating is about hurting and being hurt. I don't mean

that in terms of intentional. I mean that in that we are

often disappointed. There's someone who's going to be disappointed in the dating relational process

as we explore whether or not we are compatible with someone. So before I get into the how do I get

over breakup, which is very important. And for those that are thinking, oh, I'm long term married,

that's not part of my story or I-term married, that's not part of

my story, or I'm happily single and solo, not part of my story. This is applicable to a lot of

things outside of that, because this is also going to be about how do I deal with maybe

distance or separation or a friend breakup or breakup with a family member in addition to maybe

the loss of a job. This is really about grief and loss.

How do we mourn in a more productive, healthier way for ourselves?

So maybe that's what tonight's show is.

How do we mourn the loss of things with the entry point of relationships being, you know,

how we kind of lay that groundwork.
