Now, before we get into these questions, you might hear a slight croakiness in my voice. I promise

you, it's not from too much parting. There was a little bit of that, obviously, but no, a little bit

of lurgy lingering. And do you know, I was doing some research as to why I felt so achy with the

flu. And I managed to shake it off really easily. And I'll tell you how I did it. I thought that it was

the virus that was making me feel achy.

It was some kind of viral ache.

But actually, it seems to be that when our immune system detects something that's going on like a virus,

it prioritises defending the body and kind of bringing out the big guns to beat it.

And that means a lot of our electrolytes and other immune resources

are pulled away from normal bodily functions,

and that is what can cause the achiness.

So, armed with that bit of knowledge,

I then downed about three pints of electrolytes,

obviously not all in one go,

sipped slowly throughout a number of hours.
