Most bloggers are lost when it comes to affiliate marketing, so you're not alone when

you feel like you're falling a little short with your own affiliate marketing.

In this episode, I'm going to tell you some stats, and then I'm going to give you an awesome

growth hack that could give you a big bump in your monthly earnings.

When I spent a month researching how the top income producing blogs made their money,

there were a couple of key findings that stood out about affiliate marketing.

Number one, certain niches were making more from affiliates than others.

Personal finance bloggers stood at the top of the mountain, making an average of $4,700 a month from

affiliates.

They were followed by marketing and travel blogs, which were both right around $3,000 a month.

At the bottom of the list were food bloggers.

The reason why food bloggers were at the bottom

was because food bloggers make serious bank from their ads. Ad Thrive and Mediavine are the two

biggest ad companies out there. Ad Thrive caters almost exclusively to food bloggers. Over 80% of Ad Thrives ad impressions come from

food bloggers. With out of this world, RPMs, food bloggers really don't need to get their hands

dirty trying to figure out affiliate marketing. For them, all they need to do is pump out as much

quality content as possible.

The second finding was, when bloggers break $7,500 a month in income, they start mastering affiliate marketing.
