Very early in this present spiritual journey, probably like the

2012 or 2013, I spoke with a teacher on the phone and he walked me through a

practice, like a meditation. And obviously, again, it was powerful enough for me to

share with you and for me to remember it, it definitely brought the witness,

the awareness of the witness became very, very discernible. So I would like to

try that with you today. If you are down, if you're a game, you'll just need to be

somewhere quiet where you won't be disturbed at least for like eight minutes. And

I'd like for you to sit, not lay down, so sit in a comfortable chair or on a couch,

somewhere where your back can be supported so you can truly be comfortable. Because

the more comfortable you are, the less attention you pay to your body, and that's

what we want, we want you to be unaware of your body. So get comfortable, close

your eyes, and just notice that breathing is happening. And on your next exhale,

release all tension, go jello, let your whole body relax into that chair or into

that couch, feel the weight of your body, and that seat.

As your body relaxes further and further, notice that your mind is following suit.

Every time a thought comes, just look over its shoulder, or you can do as Eckhart

Tolae recommends, ask, I wonder where my next thought will come from. And then you listen

for it, like a cat watching a mouse hole. And then the thought comes and you ask again,
