Most of your life, you do not pause and say, okay, biblical principle here, 10 factors take into

account here, principles factors, choice.

You couldn't live that way.

Nobody can live that way.

There are too many decisions to be made.

Just think of all my decisions I'm making right now. These hands,

they're always doing stuff. I don't think about them at all. They are totally out of my control.

It's really easy to think that discerning God's will is all about stopping, weighing our options,

and then applying biblical principles.

But what about the daily decisions we make without any real conscious thought?

and you're able to give us wakefulness and alertness and spiritual receptiveness

because the Holy Spirit is very powerful.
