We had a big heat wave. I hope you guys were having a great summer and staying cool and doing things that just make you feel happy.

I was with my friend the other day and she said it's so simple. She said, I think in life we should do more of the things that make us happy and less of the things that don't.

To be honest, my week last week, it wasn't just the heat. There were some other stuff going on that it just wasn't my favorite week.

I just had some rough moments and I thought it was good timing to have our guest on today because she is all about helping people free themselves from this sadness, from this heaviness, from this anxiety, from negative stuff that we tend to all carry around.

I have observed so often in my life, myself and so many people around me where there's just unnecessary amounts of suffering.

I get it. Pain is inevitable. We're going to deal with stuff. There's going to be stress, but suffering, the amount of suffering that so often happens.

It just seems so unnecessary and I feel like usually it's just because we don't have great tools to really confront it and make a space for it and let it go.

It's sort of like, you know, if you're feeling something, but you're not dealing with it, it's still going on in the background.

It's still happening in the system's processor. It's just not necessarily on the screen, but it is going on inside the system.

And so then it comes out in various ways. Either you overreact to something or you just feel like, huh, having a hard time breathing lately or you're just super, you know, stressed and you're not really sure why.
