This week on the smartest show, in the galaxy, where we uncover everything hidden away, we're unlocking the secrets, squirrelled in

ancient fossils, revealing just how old they really are. The ability to actually directly date a fossil

is compromised, and it's much more accurate and precise to date the rocks above and below it.

So we can go into the field, we can look at the fossils and then either above or below, or hopefully both, above and below.

We'll find these layers of ash and then we'll find this mineral called Zircon.

And have you ever wondered what happens when physics meets biology?

This week we're diving into biophysics

to uncover the invisible forces that power everything.

I think for me the most exotic biological structure that we know is the human brain. And what I would love to see

is a greater level of understanding of how the brain works and what we mean in terms of physics

by consciousness. That's all on the way in a brand new science quest.
