how to create habits and routines when you have an inconsistent schedule. So this is for my shift

workers out there, nurses, anyone who schedule is more last minute unpredictable or not like a

0:15.1

traditional 9 to 5. Now, a few habits and areas that we're going to go over in this episode is

0:19.8

waking up early in a morning routine, physical health, nutrition, and at nighttime routine.

Now, I'm not a shift worker, but I did have dozens of people send me their schedules,

0:30.3

sharing a glimpse into what their life is like with an inconsistent schedule.

Or if you're someone who doesn't know what your schedule is like until the week before or night

1:15.9

before and you start at various times, that can complicate a routine, but I think I can uncomplicate

1:22.2

it for you. And that's what we're going to do right now. When it comes to waking up early in a

1:26.6

morning routine, if that's a

1:27.7

goal of yours, something that I think would be really helpful is creating a consistent amount of time

1:33.2

that you need in the morning before you start work. For example, I have a consistent schedule.

1:39.6

I'm able to wake up at the same time every day, start work at the same time every day. I work

1:43.5

in a way that's like a 9 to 5. That's how I learned how to work really before I started running my own
