this week on Ford. People often think of entrepreneurs as big risk

takers and but they aren't. They they try to measure like what's a risk I can

afford to take and and invest in that. The idea that you can be engaged in

something that is going to try to at least control your world and maybe have an

impact on the broader world is a is a very comforting and empowering feeling

for young people. You know what I find to be the antidote for anxiety and

depression is action and agency. I can't tell you how many conversations I have

when I say gosh I'm a social-moderate and an economic conservative and

everyone says would you please start a party that's for those folks because I

have never felt like I had a home and I hope that that's at least partially what

we're doing it is my pleasure to welcome to the podcast the very newest member

of the national board of forward former lieutenant governor of Massachusetts and

great to be here I am so pumped to have you as a colleague you and I met

gosh now it must be a few years ago out west and I was blown away by you you're

you're so clearly principled independent patriotic you are looking at ways to

move the country forward you're now on the board of the council for

responsible social media I believe and that's something that in my mind is

really high on the priority list and should be nonpartisan so I guess we'll
