Well, today we're talking about a kid who is way too crafty to get caught.

This kid is so good that you'll never even know the cookie jar was compromised.

That is, until you find cookie crumbs in her room, chocolate chips under the pillow, and finally, of course, a totally empty cookie jar.

I'm Jamie in Charlotte, North Carolina, full-time consultant working at home and mother of two lovely children.

Jamie's oldest son, Kai, is nine, and just an innocent bystander.

The prime suspect in this case is her daughter, Simone.

So Simone is eight. The best way to describe her would just be brilliant.

Gifted learner, sponge absorber.

But sometimes Jamie worries that Simone is almost too smart for her own good.

So I have been noticing some things with my daughter,

behaviors that I'm struggling to understand.

I guess sneaky is the best word to describe it.
