Sometimes it feels like you're making one step forward and one step backward.

Like your mind is counteracting what you're trying to do to get calm.

And I think a very common experience when you're trying to rein in an anxiety attack

when you can feel those awful feelings building up within you and you're trying to stop them.

And I think for me the most important thing I learned with

dealing with escalating anxiety is don't try and fight it and I think that's the cause of
