Hey guys, it's Kathy Heller. Welcome back to another episode of Don't Keep Your Day job. I'm super excited. Today we have Christina Scalera here. Before she comes on, I just wanted to say something. So, you know, I listen to podcasts and I know that there's a lot going on.

Out there, you know, there's a lot of people with a lot of insight and even on the show, you know, I'm talking to you with guests that are coming on. I just wanted to stop for a second and make something really clear.

If something resonates is true, right? If you have like a clicker and a moment, it's not because we're saying something like you've never known. It's just because you knew that already. You know that. And I'm just here to remind you of what you already know. So I don't want you to feel like there's, there's any misunderstanding here.

It's like, I don't feel like I've got all the smarts and everyone on the show, we just have it all together and we're all so wise and everything so dialed in. I think that we're all working progress. And I do feel like for those of us who've had some great results. It's nice to share. Like, how did we get this result. But I also want to be very clear about honoring you. And I want you to know that I respect you and I see you. And the reason I want to do this show.

Is to just help you to really pull out everything that's within you because I'm certain that you have so much to contribute to the world. So I just want you to get that right. This show is not about sort of putting stuff in. It's about sort of pulling out what's inside of you because I am on a mission, frankly, to have every single person who I ever could possibly reach to do that thing that is so special.

That is so unique to them. And I want to see you doing your thing. I want to see you opening your Etsy shop or starting your bakery. I want to see you dancing or writing your script. I want to see you songwriting. I want to see you.

Bring your wisdom and beauty to the world because you have so much to contribute. And I value that. And so I just want to be clear. Like, you know, we're going to talk and every episode. I'm going to try to bring you as much wisdom and clarity around things as I can.

But I just want to make sure you get that I get that you are whole. You don't need fixing. This is not about me educating you. This is about week after week. People just coming and illuminating things that you already know and hoping to give you permission to go for what you want.

I want to give you that extra push and some little tough love and maybe some strategies that we've used and people on the show of use that can help you excel at doing nothing that you love.

People have been on Oprah, some of the big household names, people have written books, great big best selling authors. And she's helped them with their marketing. She's helped them with their packaging. So she is a friend of mine. She's delightful.

And I said to her, would you offer like a workshop where you would for free comment and give people insight on their branding on their packaging so that they could understand better. Maybe how to really make it pop and make it stand out. And she said, yeah, she was excited about it.
