Pena Tejila, otherwise going by Penny today, and Susie Stork.

Welcome to our henhouse. We're so excited that both of you are here.

Thank you so much. Thrill to be here. Yeah, thanks for having us.

Penny and Susie are no strangers to the animal protection movement or what we're trying to do here at our henhouse to change the world for animals.

Penny is the executive director of the Animal Activism Collective, AAC, an animal rights organization that's focused on grassroots mobilization and activist training that has helped bring hundreds of new activists into the movement through its mentorship program, among other things,

while supporting the launch of dozens of local grassroots groups across the United States.

Susie is the executive director of the coalition to abolish the fur trade, CAFT,

one of the most successful anti-fur organizations

with an international grassroots network spanning more than 50 cities.

And we wanted to talk today about the power of campaigning

and how to build an effective campaign.
