You're upbringing in a small rural town has completely informed your ability to live intentionally tell me more about that

So I grew up in a town of 800 people in the middle of central Illinois surrounded by corn fields

There's one school for the entire county. I remember my parents being like I don't know how to apply to college

Good luck like pick whatever you want and

That impacted me a ton because growing up in this town where two people went to college

Maybe from my graduating high school class the thing that motivated people because people still loved their life

But none of it is what surrounds me today living in New York City for the past decade and being a founder for the second time and

Working in corporate America like my motivations are so different now than what I saw as a kid

But yet people were happy and my dad he started his own company

He's the town plumber and electrician and my mom was a stay-at-home mom but helped him with the business
