Knowing where people are coming from is one of the best ways to understand where they are.

So asking questions about people's experiences that led to their views,

and asking questions about the concerns people have around their issues,

are great ways to not be so judgmental, so that you can be curious.

When you're curious, you actually cannot be judgmental.

These are two different modes.

So pushing us away from judgment back into curiosity, back into curiosity, back into curiosity,

does amazing things for our relationships.
