When you are retired, the name of the game is cash flow.

The name of the game is how can I create income because I'm no longer

going to have income from a salary and I need something to live on. Now also in retirement, you're

likely going to have more than one source of income. You might have social security in the pension

and you might have your portfolio that's also going to be creating income for you. Because of this,

there's not enough emphasis on understanding how does your portfolio

and the income you're going to create from that tie into the other types of income sources that

you have. So in today's episode, what we're going to be talking about is we're going to understand

or we're going to unpack how do you align your portfolio, how do you manage your portfolio

in the context of your other income sources. This is based on listener question,

and this comes from Jim, and Jim says this. He says, your podcast rocks. I can't stop telling

friends to get on board. I wonder if you would consider an episode related to investing for those

who have defined benefit pensions and whether those pensions allow them to take on more risk

with their 401ks and other investments.
