To me, why I love the saying self-made is because I believe to make it to the end of your life,

you will have to make yourself over and over and over again.

How I've made myself over is by being flexible and pivot.

The thing that I would say is most important in life is to understand that life is in phases

and you have to be ready for everything to change all the time.

And those of us that are stuck in a box are going to suffer a lot. And the way to not suffer through

this very difficult life is to say, that was then, this is now. And you have to have that attitude

about your life, about changes, about relationships that die and be optimistic

that other things are coming. I think we have to have the feeling of growing all the time,

of evolving all the time. And I always say, sometimes you've got to go a little backwards,

but you got to take yourself then to a higher place. And that is what it's all about.
