This is episode number 113, and until

now, I have had one single guest on the podcast, and the other 112 episodes were just me. And

it's not for lack of options, but I really want to make sure that I don't have anyone on the show

unless I believe they have something extremely valuable or profound to share. And today, I believe,

we have just that. Today we have someone who I believe has great wisdom to share about how to become

a better investor. So my guest for today is Chad Hufford. Chad's a friend of mine who's a

financial planner and owner of Veritas wealth management in Anchorage, Alaska, where he and his firm

serve over a thousand families as they pursue

James. Excited to have you. And I think that today, this will be both a timely and a timeless episode

for a lot of investors. And just for context, as of this recording, the NASDAQ so far

this year in 2022 is down over 26%. The S&P 500 is down over 16%. The Russell 2000 is down over

21%. In other words, the markets are down quite a bit. And chat, as you and I were talking about

what would be a really valuable message for the most people?
