I'm Keith Simon.

0:11.0

And I'm Patrick Miller.

0:14.0

Patrick one of the things I think churches get criticized for and I think it's even a fair criticism is that we often talk a lot about people's spiritual lives, but it seems to be

0:26.3

divested or irrelevant to what they think of as real life. So we talk about how to read your Bible or we encourage people to come to

0:35.2

worship services and there's this idea that be a nice person but what does the Bible

0:41.1

have to say about the rest of life in other words most of life the vast

0:45.3

0:56.8

affects just ordinary relationships that speaks into my job that gets

outside of what you might think of as my leisure time.

1:06.5

And what we're going to wrestle with today is how to apply some biblical wisdom into an area of our life that perhaps you haven't thought about much

1:16.1

and that is just being a team player. It could be a team player in a family or on a

1:21.1

sports team or in a work environment but what does it look like to be a

1:25.1

Christian and be involved with a team? How do you work well with one another? What kind of

1:30.1

teammates do you want to find and what kind of teammate do you want to be?

1:34.6

And this has a lot to say to Patrick and I because not that long ago we had to start sharing

1:39.0

an office.

1:41.1

And so there caused us to have... Actually technically you had to start sharing an office. I was already sharing an office with someone else.

1:47.0

Okay true. I had my own office and I was kind of used to it but a variety of circumstances led me to say to Patrick, hey, you

1:55.1

want to come in and start sharing this office together, and so it's made us be a

1:58.7

team player. You like being a team player, Patrick? Well from being honest sometimes yes sometimes no back in
