We're picking up with day two of our finding peace devotional in the Bible app.

And as always, I'm going to read the scripture and then Tori's going to read the

Devo.

Let's do it.

The scripture is John chapter 14 verse 27, and it says this, I'm leaving you with a gift,

peace of mind and heart.

And the peace I give you is a gift the world cannot give.

So don't be troubled or afraid.

The devotional is titled the peace God gives.

And it says, if you're a student of the Bible, I'm sure you've noticed that God's

perspective is often given in the form of comparison and contrast.

For example, he often contrasted the rich and the poor, the wise and the foolish, darkness

and light.

And with respect to our topic, the peace that comes from God as opposed to the peace found

in this world, Jesus said, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives.
