Who doesn't want to be more

who doesn't want to be more attractive?

And I don't mean attractive just in a romantic or sexual sense,

although this does impact that certainly if you want to dial up how people respond to

you even your charisma how engaging you are with others this one one, this one piece of information can really take you a long way.

And I would love you to even look at examples in your own life, in your own history, for evidence that this is probably true.

So let me start just by telling you a little story about when I was in high school. There was a boy who liked me. His name was Patrick and I know that he

had a bit of a crush on me for some time but but I just forever, whatever reason I just wasn't

interested in him, I didn't really notice him, you know.

Happens, we're young, there are lots of boys and girls at school, we all like who we like,

and he just wasn't really on my radar.

And then one time, like almost like out of nowhere,

I noticed that Patrick had taken up rowing.

Like the sport, rowing, looks really hard to me.

And you may not think that rowing is particularly like sexy.

And look, I might agree, I'm not sporty myself, but rowing isn't the point.

Patrick became really immersed and excited and interested in something.

It just so happened in this case that it was something athletic.

And when I saw him in our common room at school,

he was often talking animatedly about his rowing adventures, his team, his sport, he had different people around him it seems and he was talking about his plans and his engagement, passion and enthusiasm for life was really magnetic. It was like, huh, I want some of that.

And it made me notice him and look at him differently.
