like comes up a lot, and that is hitting a plateau, a plateau in your fitness journey, where you

feel like you have been getting some really good results, and then it kind of comes to a stop,

comes to a pause. You're kind of struggling to get to that next phase, that next level,

whatever that looks like. So I wanted to talk about what you can do to help avoid plateaus and what

you can do to work through your plateau, start getting your results again and seeing the

progress that you want. First things first, you might be wondering, okay, what is a plateau? Am I in one? What does

this mean? And I feel like when it comes to fitness, a plateau refers to kind of a time period

where your progress is looking like it's stalling despite your consistent effort in your

workout routine. So you keep going to the gym, you're doing all the things that you need to be

doing, but you are not seeing any more progress. You have seen progress at some point, but now that

has stopped. This is very common. It is a common experience, especially as you are becoming more

accustomed to your training, to your workouts, to your routine. Your body is adapting and getting used to

what you are doing. So while you are still getting a lot of benefits from movement, from working out,

you're not going to be able to get those same initial levels of improvements that you did
