when I'm deciding what to learn, I spend way more time than most people, like, trying to

figure out, like, what is the critical, critical information that I need?

It's just like how it's, once you've ever had this moment one time with learning language,

when like you start learning a language a shitty way where you're like, you're memorizing

much of random words that no one uses very often.

And then like one day you're like, wait a minute, if I just learned like the 300 most common words. I know like half of the words that are useful.

And that is just like a holy shit moment, but everything works that way.

People who don't have that mental model of the 80-20 rule,

you can tell this somebody doesn't really have that model when they're like,

this is going to sound crazy.

But like, did you know that a small number of rich people have like a large percentage

of the wealth? And, uh, and it's like, yeah, that's, yeah. Same for the stars in the universe.

Yeah. The small percentage of the stars have most of the mass. Yeah. It's everywhere.

Yeah. 20% of your problems cause 80% of your pain.

20% of your ideas or 80% of the value, etc.

And so like, you can just tell that most people haven't really,

they don't understand the pattern.

So they're like, whenever it sees, they're like,

oh my God, that's how nature works. Yeah.
