Summary

New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 77 When Woke Marxists set their sights on an organization, there's a predictable pattern for how they'll get in and take over. Proceeding in five steps, it looks like this. First, they demand access. Once in, they demand accommodation, which will be weaponized according to their ability to take offense at everything. Then they'll demand a seat at the table, which is to say access to power. That will quickly expand to demanding to control the table and setting the rules. From there, they'll demand to control the whole room (organization). This is predictable, and it can be spotted and stopped. In this episode of New Discourses Bullets, host James Lindsay explains. Everybody this is James Lindsay. You are listening to new discourses bullets where I give a kind of bullet point summary of a single topic from woke Marxism that we need to understand so we can beat it. And in a recent episode I talked about the idea of entryism, which is a strategic entry into an institution in order to take it over.

In other words, to set set up what they call a counter

0:32.8

hegemony or a counter institution or a counter state if it's a state within a state

0:39.9

or institution or organization or even culture in order to turn it over for Marxism.

0:48.4

And I want to kind of talk about something a little more specific today.

0:51.6

I want to talk about the progression like let's say you have an institution or a board or a club or an organization or virtually anything and it's about to meet a woke takeover.

1:05.0

Now, I want to just give like a five-stage process and what that takeover looks like.

1:11.0

That's the point of this podcast. So what is an entry is

1:14.0

is the point of this podcast.

1:13.1

So what does an entreeest progression look like?

1:17.7

This isn't kind of an overall, like every possible domain, how would they do entry is a kind of thing, but this is certainly how they would take over an institution or take over a conference or take over a department at a university.

1:34.0

And that said, it would be worth your time if you haven't read it

1:38.0

if you are in such a place to at least peruse the book

1:42.0

I published through new discourses. I didn't write this book.

1:47.0

I helped with a little bit of it, but it was by Charles Pinkcourt. It's called Counter-Wokecraft.

1:52.0

It came out a little over a year, maybe almost year and a half ago, something.

1:56.0

I suggest you pick that up. It is actually about the techniques of woke takeover inside of institutions.

2:05.0

So you might want to check that out.

2:07.3

But my purposes today are to say,

2:10.3

these are the five steps you're going to see unfold and then to try to talk about what you might

2:15.2

be able to do about them at different points.

2:18.8

So the progression, it's always in a list of demands because they're demanding stuff constantly because woke is essentially an entitlement complex turned into a philosophy or set of kind of
