All right, welcome back to making the argument. And we have a special guest with us today.

If you've watched this channel at all, you've known that myself, my beautiful bride, Tina,

Queen of the Bees, we talk a lot about this idea of masculinity, a femininity, of a culture,

which is supposed to uplift both, but increasingly seems like it's

always at war with one or the other. And today's guest was writing about the war on men, right?

Not just from the idea of how it affected men, but how it also adversely affect women, right? And the thing is, is a lot of people,

again, probably looking at the stock going, oh, yeah, war on man. Yeah, we've heard it. No, no, no, no, no.

She wrote this book over a decade ago, right? When everybody else, when everybody else was saying,

what are you talking about? Oh, oh, the poor men, do they have to contend with something now? You know, Suzanne Venker was out there saying, no, there's a problem.

There is a problem.

And if it doesn't get addressed, it's going to lead to some pretty horrible consequences.

Well, that was back in 2013.

2013.

So here we are 11 years later. And it's obvious that our culture did not heed her

warnings and the warnings of other people who are not saying this as giving a pass for men

for bad things that men can do or maybe things that men can improve on, but recognizing that

when a culture decides to essentially trash masculinity, excuse me,

when a society decides to trash masculinity, it's bad for everybody. And now we're looking

at a society where men feel increasingly alienated. A lot of men will not even approach a woman

for a date. Women are constantly asking, where of all the good men got? I saw a video not long ago

where a woman was saying, why aren't any of the men giving up their seats for me in the subway?

Well, you get less of what you're punished. And that's what Suzanne's here to talk about today.
