| 0:15.7 | If you've been following along with 10 minute Bible talks this year, then you'll know that we are spending all of 2023 in the |
| 0:20.0 | New Testament. Right now we're in the third chapter of the book of Hebrews and the thing about this book |
| 0:25.4 | is that in order to really understand the meaning and depth of what the author is saying to |
| 0:30.0 | his original audience, we also need to have a good understanding of the Old Testament. |

| 1:45.5 | He was the one that God used to deliver his people out of bondage and make a way for them |
| 1:49.8 | through the wilderness into the promised land. He was a servant to the people of God, giving |
| 1:55.8 | his life over to God's great rescue plan for the nation of Israel. And maybe you can already |
| 2:01.3 | hear it, but throughout the Bible Moses' faithfulness and his work in the nation of Israel foreshadows, the one who will come to ultimately rescue, not just Israel, but all of creation from its bondage and deliver them into the kingdom of God. |
