Derek Glybby spoke to some reporters about his injury update for, you know, his foot and everything that's been happening. And he said, nothing good. He said he was not running running yet he's not progressed to running or jumping

or anything like that yet he was asked about a timetable and he said i can't even give you a timetable

yet or taking as much time as possible i'm actually taking extra time than what you know the

the doctor short ever have said so i make sure that i never deal with this again and i looked at that

looked at the calendar, looked back, looked down to the floor, looked up at the ceiling and said, we're three months away from training camp. Training camp started September 30th last year. We are like right on the doorstep of it almost. And if you're not running yet, I don't think you're three months away from being the starting center of the Dallas Mavericks going into training camp. And I think that that changes some things that Dallas Mavericks probably look

at because you have Masayu Jiri, Mike Schmitz taking over this franchise and trying to assess

everything that they have right now. And you can't look at Derek lively and tell me, all right,

that's guaranteed going to be our starting center from here, the future, and so on.

Yeah, you know, it's interesting because while I agree with that, the way time works is so

bizarre because it feels like that was five years ago.
