The guest today is Stuart Butterfield, the co-founder and CEO of Slack.

It is, for those who might not know it in their workplace or in their home lives,

a messaging app started back in 2013, since popularized in workplaces and community groups,

and my kids are on it for crying out loud around the country and around the world.

Slack has 10 million users when public in what's called the direct listing on the New York Stock Exchange this past summer,

but that does not mean everybody totally gets what this company does.

That seems impossible. Well, look, me two years ago would have been the same thing. Yeah. Right? And many others. So what's the, you know, for those who don't know? If I want to put it in really simple terms, I would say it's a messaging app for teams. I don't think that really gives you the whole picture. It tells me nothing.
