On Monday morning, the heart space in Southport was buzzing with the sounds of

excited little girls learning the moves to their favorite Taylor Swift songs.

But just before noon, not long before their mums and dads were coming to pick them up, a man burst into their dance class armed with a knife.

Three girls were killed.

Eight other children were injured, along with a man and a woman who tried to protect them.

No one there will ever forget the horrors they saw.

I didn't actually see the guy do it, but virtually seen everything else, all the young girls lying on the floor.

It's like a nightmare.

On Tuesday night a vigil was held to bring Southport together.

To lay flowers, to light candles.
