I really don't have a title to this.

If I were to give a title to what we're about to dissect on today, it would simply be,

how should we respond to this?

This is more of a pastoral address.

And I want us to understand this.

The world has a fever, a contagious cold.

And my concern this afternoon is the church, however, is showing symptoms as though

we caught it. The world. I'm not surprised by things that happens in the world. But when the

church agrees with the world, acts like the world, endorses things like the world,

I'm starting to question has the church, the bride, caught the cold of our culture.

The world has a fever, evidence of a severe virus, a virus of hate, a virus of bigotry, a virus of racism, a virus of pride,

a virus of lust, a virus of arrogance, a virus of attempting to redefine genders and attempting

to redefine marriage, a virus of celebrating evil, a virus of calling darkness light and light

darkness. However, for the true follower and disciple of Jesus, this should not be shocking to us.

Because Jesus told us what will happen in the last days, and we see that in Matthew chapter 24,

verse 6, when Jesus is speaking, I want you to watch the text Jesus says you will hear of wars and rumors of wars but see to it

that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen.

But the end is still to come.

Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.

There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

All these are the beginning of birth pains. Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death,

and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time, many will turn away from the
