So my wife and I, we just had our first baby about a week and a half ago.

So we're trying to get set up to start putting money away to stay for college and just trying

to think through the best way to do that.

So I'm familiar with 529 plans, but it seems like there's a lot of different options

up there for 529 and then I just wasn't sure if there was any other type of account that

might be a better alternative.

Now 529 is about the best thing there is, but you're right, there is a bunch of options.

The only option you want is the kind where you select the type of mutual funds that go

in it, each individual fund, and it does not change unless you change it.

It's not on autopilot of any kind.
