It follows to me today to speak to you from the Word of God as it always does.

You have no interest in my opinion.

I would not waste your time by giving it.

But we must hear from God.

Everybody is aware that we are in a crisis.

Perhaps something we have not experienced in most of our lifetimes.

We need to understand it from the biblical viewpoint.

Last week I addressed the question, who's to blame for the riots?

And the blame really fell in a lot of places.

But today I want to turn the page and ask the question, how do we as Christians respond to protests and riots?

And I want to begin by reading two verses from the last chapter of Proverbs, verse 8 and 9 of chapter 31.

Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all the unfortunate.

Open your mouth judge righteously and defend the rights of the afflicted and needy.
