And so we're kind of prone to sing about how God is going to help me.

And that's, it's okay to sing about that, because you know, the psalmist talks about that as well.

But making sure that we are not the main subject of our worship songs, making sure that we're singing the holiness of God, singing the greatness of God so that it's, it's all those sweeter when we sing about the fact that God invites us to be his children.

So near the beginning of this new book that you've written, you say something that I think

gets to the heart of what you're trying to help your readers see in this book.

You write, quote, this book is about believing that we exist for God rather than him for us.

So I wonder if you can just start there and help us to see how that statement connects to this overarching theme in this book.

Yeah.

So the topic of reverence, you know, it can be such a general term that's like, what is it?

Are we talking about a style of worship?

Are we talking about a certain type of church service?
