0:47.0	Pancake Day is coming up and my taste buds are growling for a delicious plate of buttery flap jacks covered with maple syrup.
0:56.6	The Howls and Wies of just why we celebrate this pancake day have kind of slipped out of my
1:01.3	memory, however, and I figured there's no time like now to dig into the story,
1:06.7	learn something, and do some sharing. And my looking into it has produced a lot of fun facts about this special day and the 47
1:14.9	days beyond. I also have some serious advice for men who have practicing
1:20.4	Christian wives or girlfriends who might really enjoy a box of chocolate
1:24.7	or chocolate-covered strawberries on Valentine's Day.

1:45.3	pre-game show for the Christian calendar and has three other names. Shrove Tuesday,
1:51.0	Fat Tuesday, and Mardi Gras, which is French for Fat Tuesday, followed by
1:57.3	Ash Wednesday and the kickoff for 40 days of Lent. And I had a few other questions as well, like who decides
2:05.8	when Easter Sunday will be? And when did bunnies get involved in Easter? And
2:10.8	when did bunnies start laying eggs? And there are a lot of special days and
2:16.0	times that Christians celebrate after Shrove Tuesday, which this year is coming up on February
2:22.4	13th. and Ash Wednesday which is also
2:26.0	Valentine's Day this year February 14th then there's good Friday Lent and
2:32.3	Easter season.
