Summary

Have you ever held back from doing something because you were worried what other people might say? In this episode, I’m getting brutally honest about my own experience with online trolls, hate comments, and public criticism, and how I went from being crushed by it, to being completely unbothered, to actually liking it. Yes, really. I’ll take you behind the scenes of my mindset journey, and explain how haters ended up helping me grow my business, build a stronger brand, and make more money than ever before. I also explore where this fear of judgment really comes from—how shame is wired into us from childhood, and how the belief of “What will people think?” is the most destructive thing we can teach our kids. This is a must-listen if: You’ve ever been paralyzed by fear of judgment You’re growing a brand or business online You want to raise confident, resilient kids Or you're ready to live unapologetically and finally stop people-pleasing Get ready to rewire your beliefs and start using every bit of criticism as fuel for growth. Make sure you leave a comment and tell me what you most enjoyed about this episode!

Hey there, welcome to the Kim Constable podcast. Nobody cares. Work harder. How are you all doing today? Welcome to another episode. I was compelled to make an episode today because the BBC, which is a broadcasting house here in Belfast, well, actually in the UK,

0:23.8

rang me this morning asking me to make a video comment on a website expose that they are doing

0:31.1

on a website called Tatel. Now, many of you will actually know Tatel because I've talked about it

0:35.9

quite a bit in the past, but it's

0:38.5

basically a website which is designed to give people a platform to talk about online influencers.

0:45.4

That's basically it. It's a place where you can go anonymously, create an anonymous account

0:49.4

and basically talk shit about people who you don't like online, dissect their lives, dissect their content,

0:56.7

dissect everything about them, and just spew forth all your hurt and anger and hatred

1:04.4

and make yourself feel better. And of course, there's been things that have happened in my life

1:09.0

and in my business, you know, with disgruntled employees and whatever else. And then, of course, you know,

1:13.9

they go straight onto Tatle and, you know, or they get friends to go on to Tatle and try to stir

1:18.6

up a bit of a Hornet's Nest. You know who you are. And talk shit about me online,

1:24.7

thinking that in some way they're going to hurt me or punish me.

1:28.3

But I have a very different view of people talking about you online and people talking about

1:33.6

you negatively, which you guys will know if you followed me for a while really doesn't affect

1:37.5

me. I've never cared about it. In fact, I welcome it because if no one's talking negatively

1:41.6

about you in the world, then you're actually not doing

1:44.5

anything worthwhile. It has always been my thoughts on it. I remember hearing Grant Cardone talking years

1:50.1

ago. I love Grant. He's amazing. And he said a thing. I was listening to an interview with him once.

1:54.4

And he said, if you love me, tell all your friends. If you hate me, tell all your friends. Just keep

1:59.8

talking about me because it keeps me

2:01.2

relevant. And I just thought that was absolutely amazing. It just, it reframed it for me because he was
