Teenage angst has paid off well and now,

Olivia Rodrigo is 20 years old and she just dropped her excellent second album,

guts, to break down every track on that album,

I have with me our own Andy Martosia, who just wrote a great Rolling Stone cover story on Olivia.

Angie, how would you compare guts with Olivia's debut?

Does it live up to Sour?

I think it does live up to Sour a lot.

Sour was very one note at times.

It was very much a breakup

and I think guts is very multi-layered and has a lot of depth to it that Sour does not so I really do

think she lived up to it and did not have a sophomore

son. Yeah I think it's really good. I think we have the

confidence to name it an instant classic. I don't think anything is an

instant classic for me. I'm always slower to warm up to things.

I'm hesitant to label anything that way so soon, but I think it's obviously really good.

I still think vampire is the best song in the first single we did a whole segment talking about how great

Vampire is. It's the most ambitious song on it and I guess I was slightly disappointed that there's nothing as

ambitious as vampire this sort of almost rock

operatic thing.
