Summary

On today’s episode, I sit down with Nick Viall and Natalie Joy. We discuss what Natalie said when she slid into Nick’s DMs, why Nick repeatedly shut Natalie down, if it’s true the worse the relationship the more it’s on instagram, their biggest insecurities, their engagement timeline, if a girl can change a guy’s mind about proposing, and more. This episode starts with a solo where I discuss meeting SO’s friends if you don’t drink, how to act when you run into an ex, what to do if you missed a kissing opportunity, cheating red lines, your 20s and overcoming the stigma of going out all the time, and sex life in an LTR.

Hey guys, welcome back to We Minute Act Me. Today's episode is so much fun because it's with Nick

0:12.2

and Natalie, Nick, via I'll came on the podcast a while back, like maybe three years ago and a lot has

0:19.1

changed since. At the time he wasn't in a relationship. I was like a few weeks sober. I was in a

0:27.1

different relationship. Anyway, he has evolved. I'd like to think that I have evolved and I'm

0:32.2

excited for you to hear it. And also his girlfriend, Natalie, came and joined us. She is so wonderful.

0:38.8

And I have a huge girl crush on her. But before we get into that, I'm just going to answer a few

0:43.5

of your questions and then we'll get right into Nick and Natalie. Somebody asked, I'm newly

0:50.7

dating someone and I'm sober. How do I handle meeting his friends who love to drink? This was

0:56.4

definitely a concern for me when I was going to meet Steven's friends. I was like, they're going

1:02.3

to think I'm a loser. They're not going to think I'm fun. And it was so not like that. And a big

1:07.6

part of that was because Steven told them ahead of time. He wasn't like telling them like,

1:13.4

oh, Lindsay used to have this problem. And she's like, you know, he was just like, yeah,

1:17.2

Lindsay doesn't drink. She's sober just to give you a heads up. And so his friends were so sweet

1:23.0

and accommodating about it when they met me. They didn't offer me drinks like they offered me water.

1:28.9

They offered me whatever they knew. And they were able to be respectful of it. So I would say

1:34.7

to, you know, have him tell them like, I'm sure he tells his friends about you. So just when he does,

1:41.8

make sure that he tells them that you don't drink. But like that, you're obviously great. Otherwise,

1:47.2

why would he be with you? What to do? How to act and how to greet an ex when you see them out of

1:53.7

wedding after no contact for a year? My favorite thing to do. And I say this often. So you've probably

1:59.2

heard it is treat them like in acquaintance. Like in acquaintance that you, you don't hate. You

2:05.1

don't mind it all actually. And acquaintance like, oh, my God. Hey, like, you look great. Good to see you.
